Here at Loving Arms, we realize that every individual is different and therefore requires different levels of care in order to thrive. Therefore we provide a direct professional care team to evaluate all the information given to them by the family and physician, and develop a care plan that will ensure every resident will receive the necessary, individualized care that they deserve. Personal Care
Some residents may require little or no physical assistance. These residents delight in three meals daily, regular housekeeping services and laundry, freeing them to choose from a wide array of activities to enjoy with their loved ones. Nursing assistance is always made available to these residents.
Services Provided
- Three meals a day, along with special diets and snacks
- Daily housekeeping and linen services
- Daily bed making and trash removal
- Personal laundry service
- Emergency call system in all bedrooms as well as bathroom
- 24-hour nursing staff
- Assisted living: Monthly wellness assessments, which include complete analysis of daily blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, eating and sleeping patterns, nutritional status, weekly weight recordings, personal hygiene, bladder and bowel movement patterns
- Independent living: Weekly wellness check with nursing staff to include blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Weekly church service
Loving Arms’ Care Program
Loving Arms Rest Home’s Comprehensive Incontinence Assessment is performed by the Wellness Nurse at the time of resident move-in, or whenever a change in incontinence level occurs. The purpose of the assessment is to identify possible underlying medical conditions that may require treatment and thereby possibly reducing incontinent episodes. The assessment will also assist the resident, family, and staff in treating and or managing the condition and identifying appropriate products.
Each resident with incontinence will have an Individualized Service Plan (ISP), that is developed by our Wellness Nurse using the information obtained during the assessment. The Personalized Treatment Plan assures the appropriate use of products and care given to each resident. Care Managers, in conjunction with the Wellness Nurse, will monitor residents closely. This monitoring allows the staff to make quick adjustments to the care plan if there is a change in the incontinence pattern.
Loving Arms Rest Home staffs are trained to provide the highest level of incontinence care. Incontinence Care Training will assure that each resident will receive appropriate care, thereby creating the most efficient use of products and costs. Care Managers are trained to promote suitable and timely interventions for reducing or eliminating incontinence. Our program encourages understanding and compassion for each resident.
By combining our Comprehensive Incontinence Assessment, Personalized Treatment Plan (using the ISP), and specialized training, Loving Arms enhances the quality of life for each resident. Care Managers are discreet and incorporate the Loving Arms principle of maintaining privacy. Loving Arms promotes independence and self-care whenever possible, thereby preserving each resident’s dignity.
